I had an issue recently where I could not edit the hardware of one of my VMware templates. I would convert the template to a virtual machine, and upon trying to edit its hardware I received this error message “Call “PropertyCollector.RetrieveContents” for object “propertyCollector” on vCenter Server “” failed.”
